The Statements
Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position, presented identically each month so your eye learns where to look.
Home/Services/Accounting And Financial Reporting/Monthly Financial Reporting Package
One package each month with the statements, the comparisons and a short plain read on what moved. Built to be opened, not filed.
A stack of statements with no commentary is a test, and most owners fail it not through lack of intelligence but through lack of time. The numbers arrive, nothing obvious jumps out, and the file gets closed.
A reporting package is the same information organised so the important parts announce themselves. What changed, by how much, and the likely reason, on the first page rather than the seventh.
Software can produce statements. What it cannot do is notice that your materials cost moved four points while revenue stayed flat, connect that to the supplier change in month two, and tell you it will cost you meaningfully over a year if nothing changes.
That is the part we write. It is short on purpose. Nobody needs six pages of narrative, and a package that takes an hour to read will not be read.
Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position, presented identically each month so your eye learns where to look.
Against last month, against the same month last year, and against the budget when there is one. Context turns a number into information.
A few paragraphs on what moved and why, and what it implies for the next period. Written to be understood without a call.
The pattern we see most is that the package changes the timing of decisions rather than the decisions themselves. Owners were always going to notice the problem. They notice it in month two instead of month seven, which is where the value sits.
It also changes what conversations with a lender or an investor feel like, because you arrive already knowing what they are about to ask about.
The reports and engagements that usually sit alongside this one.
The first conversation is about your business and where it stands, not a pitch.
